Establishment of ties: India and Bosnia & Herzegovina (BiH) established diplomatic relations in 1995. BiH opened its resident Embassy in New Delhi in 1997. Peacekeeping link: India contributed ~100 police observers to the UN Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNMIBH) during the post-conflict period; UNMIBH concluded on December 31, 2002. MEA India
